Description
As of MSNP13 the user's server side buddy list is implemented via a SOAP end point. With the upgrade our upgrade to MSNP15, the SOAP address book was not included. As a result only buddys already existing on a user's local machine will appear as online (and will see you as online).

Might want to look into gSOAP, as parsing / constructing SOAP requests manually is a pain.

AnEvilYak has ported gSOAP to Haiku. Yay! Not sure what Zeta users are going to do - I'd like to provide support for Zeta for the next release (at least)

Here's the portlog for gSOAP :

gSOAP's makefiles seem to be hardcoded for building static libs.
here's the gentoo portage page for gSOAP, it has a more complete list of its dependencies : http://gentoo-portage.com/net-libs/gsoap
Currently, I don't have any version of Zeta installed. I really don't know when i'll be able to try this in zeta or r5bone for that matter, but feel free to nudge me on irc.
